History of Albert Hall
Construction of the Albert Hall Museum began in 1876 during the visit of Albert Edward, Prince of Wales (King Edward VII). These museums are dedicated to the vision, inspiration and efforts of Maharaja Sawai Ram Singh II, Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh II, Hendley and Jacob. This museum is also known as the Central Museum. It was created to introduce youth and visitors to local artistry. It was an important step in helping artisans improve their crafts.
